The goal is to trigger new collaborations with like-minded colleagues and potential industrial partners and to receive early feedback which can help you to submit a full research paper to next year\u2019s RE conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A good RE@Next! contribution will:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"custom_html\">\n<ul class=\"normal_list\">\n<li>provide in succinct form the information that you would convey in a seminar about your ongoing research work to a fellow academic visiting your department;<\/li>\n<li>include the targeted research questions and the research methodology you propose to address them;<\/li>\n<li>show the feasibility of your work by presenting preliminary results, such as a convincing review of well-established prior work, a pilot study based on a reasonably sophisticated example problem, or early results from an exploratory qualitative or quantitative study;<\/li>\n<li>present the long-term directions and prospects of your research endeavor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_text\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RE@Next! contributions will be rigorously reviewed by the RE@Next! Program Committee, following a double-blind review format. Evaluation criteria include clarity of the submission, expected interest to the conference attendees, also based on the conference theme \u201cRequirements Engineering for a Digital World\u201d, and novelty and feasibility of the idea.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The authors of accepted papers will have the opportunity to increase the visibility of their artifacts (software and data) and to obtain an artifact badge. Upon acceptance, the authors can submit their artifacts, which will be evaluated by a committee that determines their sustained availability and reusability.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"cmsmasters_row_69e538b60e0c77_33188033\" class=\"cmsmasters_row cmsmasters_color_scheme_default cmsmasters_row_top_default cmsmasters_row_bot_default cmsmasters_row_boxed\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_outer_parent\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_outer\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_inner\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_margin\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_column one_first\">\n\n<div id=\"cmsmasters_heading_69e538b60e3c9\" class=\"cmsmasters_heading_wrap cmsmasters_heading_align_left\">\n\t<h1 class=\"cmsmasters_heading\">Submission Instructions<\/h1>\n<\/div><div class=\"cmsmasters_text\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All authors who intend to submit a paper must first submit the title, abstract (max. 200 words) and author information. Abstracts are used only to point out your interest to submit a paper and to allow the track co-chairs to initiate the search for possible reviewers early in time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An abstract submission must be followed by a full paper submission.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Papers must describe original work that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Papers must have between 4 and 6 pages, including references. Submissions must be written in English and formatted according to the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/re20.org\/index.php\/formatting-instructions\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> IEEE formatting instructions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Submissions must be double-blinded in conformance with the instructions described in the <a href=\"https:\/\/re20.org\/index.php\/research-papers\/\">research track<\/a>. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions that do not respect these <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">constraints will be rejected without review.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accepted papers may require editing for clarity prior to publication and presentation.
