Artifacts
Public sharing software and data can increase the visibility of your research and help other scientists bootstrap their research. To promote this practice, RE’20 includes an “artifact track.”
Authors of accepted papers in the research, RE:Next!, and industry innovation tracks are encouraged to submit and have their artifacts (software and data) evaluated through a review process by a specific program committee. Positively evaluated artifacts will have the opportunity to increase the visibility of their paper and to obtain an artifact badge.
Examples of artifacts are the following:
- Software that implements algorithms presented in the accepted paper
- Requirements expressed in natural language form
- Requirements models in a human or machine-readable format
- User reviews such as app reviews
